Tai Ping Hou Kwei, Lou's Leaves (ounce)

This tea comes from TaiPing County of Huei Province in an area known as Monkey Hill. So delicate are the tender large leaves that they are picked only during the fog-filled early mornings of spring. Paired leaves are pressed and flattened during the drying process giving this tea its elegant appearance. Tai Ping Hou Kwei holds the distinction of being China's National Treasure Tea of 1982. The resultant brew has a fresh green aroma and is slightly sweet.
